As part of the Xbox 20th anniversary celebrations, Xbox leaders past and present sat down for a wide-ranging discussion about the past, present, and future of Xbox.
Retired Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime hosts the discussion, which features Xbox pioneers and business heads Robbie Bach, Ed Fries, Peter Moore, and Bonnie Ross. Bach, Fries, and Moore worked at Xbox at the start and have since left, while Ross is still working with Xbox, now as the head of Halo developer 343 Industries.
The 47-minute video is stacked with fascinating stories and insight about the history and evolution of Xbox. Ross, for example, reveals that she learned that Microsoft was making a console while having a beer at a bar where designer J Allard told her about the project.

Sleeper hit Vampire Survivors continues to be a very popular game on Steam, with thousands of simultaneous players at any given time. Microsoft has announced the second wave of titles headed to Xbox Game Pass in July, and there are six more titles coming to the subscription program before the month is done.
July 19 sees the arrival of three more games, beginning with the day-one new release As Dusk Falls for console, cloud, and PCVenir de Tragamonedas Gratis Online. This is an interactive drama and the debut title from developer Interior Night, a team founded by Quantic Dream veterans. Like Quantic Dream games, As Dusk Falls allows players to make choices in a story that starts with a robbery-gone-wrong that can have a butterfly effect down the road. Diablo 4’s patch 1.1.1, which dropped this week, included a ton of welcome changes to its weakest classes and builds, but one wide-reaching change has started to improve the action RPG for everyone.
In the patch notes, it’s only one line: “We are increasing monster density in Nightmare Dungeons and Helltides.” The developers showed a visual comparison between an old and new Nightmare Dungeon on a recent Campfire Chat stream, but Diablo 4 has far too many dungeons and Helltide locations to be able to trust one example. We needed to wait for someone to do the math.

The 373 games, comics, soundtracks, and other goodies would usually command $1,657, but are currently selling for a minimum payment of just eight bucks. The proceeds go to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), a nonprofit working to provide humanitarian aid in Gaza.

Lenovo might be known more for its laptops and pre-built desktop machines than its peripherals, but today it announced a new proof of concept keyboard and mouse that may well be an indicator of how our wireless accessories might work in the very near future.
